There are more than 30,000 species of microalgae in the world and only
a few have been studied. The few that have been studied in detail have revealed tremendous benefits for humans.

Microalgae are a powerful source of natural nutrition and small amounts provide a wealth of micronutrients and anti-oxidants, essential for health but difficult to obtain from one's daily diet, especially with the proliferation of processed foods and insidious contamination of a food sources by pesticides and pollutants.

Nikken Sohonsha Corporation (NSC) was a pioneer in researching and identifying the benefits of Chlorella.
